We are building an inclusive organisation – a Social Democratic force built, not just for the people, but by the people. There are many ways to be involved in this, including volunteering locally, inputting to policy ideas, and donating.
This is about building more than an electoral machine – it’s about building a political force that can revive Irish society with a long-term vision for change, where ideas are valued. We want you to be a part of that political force.
We need volunteers! We need help from people willing to organise local events, knock on doors, talk to others about us and generally be our eyes and ears on the ground. In the coming months we will be running regional meetings, and intend holding a national assembly in 2016.
Citizens, academics, students, users of public services, policy-makers, workers – all have critical inputs to offer. We want to harness that energy to create something truly unique – a deliberative process where every voice counts.
It is our intention to develop a comprehensive digital platform that facilitates interaction and dynamic policy creation. We look forward to engaging around ideas and themes over the coming months in the conversations that will help shape Ireland’s future.
